Coal Company Mairykhsky open pit mine Ltd. is a Russian coal mining company with diverse exports. The company has a license for exploration and production of coal within the boundaries of the Mairykhsky section of the Beyskoye coal deposit, the Republic of Khakassia.

The Beyskoye coal deposit is the most promising one in terms of deposists of high—quality thermal coal in the Russian Federation. The development of this deposit is part of the concept of the development of the Russian coal industry, which involves the development of new deposits, the shift of coal exporting enterprises to the east of the country, and an increase in the share of Russian coal exports.

The largest industrial project, the Beyskoye Coal Cluster, has been created in the Beyskoye Deposit. The total projected production of the cluster by 2030 will be 65% of the total coal production of the Republic of Khakassia. A solid share of this volume will be provided by the Mairykhsky open pit mine.

Commercial ROM coal reserves within the licensed area are 219.9 million tons. The first group of upper coal seams is planned to be mined within 22 years. The estimated service life, taking to account reaching the project capacity and the reclamation period is 76 years.

The production of the Mairykhsky open pit mine today is more than 4 million tons of coal per year. In the next few years, the production is planned to be increased to 6 million tons.

The company's priorities include development in accordance with the state strategy of coal mining, high quality products, large-scale investments in production, the use of the advanced technological achievements, comfortable working conditions, care for the territories of its presence.

Sales Territory

The qualitative characteristics of coal make it possible to use it effectively at the power companies of the Republic of Khakassia and ensure the requirements of export contracts without coal cleaning. The list of foreign coal supply destinations includes the countries of Eastern and Southern Europe, China, South Korea, Japan, and Turkey.
