On the eve of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, veterans of the Altai and Beisk regions of Khakassia Republic received food gifts. The food sets include: cereals, canned food, tea and sweets.
Food gift basket - the traditional sign of attention to war veterans. We decided to support this initiative and in this way express gratitude to the heroes who are often undeservedly forgotten in the depth of the country.
In the frame of a charity event organized by the Mairykhsky open pit mine and regions' administrations, more than 350 veterans received the gifts — war veterans, widows, home front workers, prisoners of concentration camps.
With the financial support of the mine for Victory Day, was also restored the memorial complex to the participants of the Great Patriotic War in Bey village.
